Animal Food Warehouse was opened in 1986 with the firm belief that every animal deserves to have a home.  We have based our decision to have an Adoption Center in our stores on that belief.  By teaming up with local adoption agencies, we have matched hundreds of pets with new homes.

We support the adoption and rescue of ANY animal.  Animal Food Warehouse & PetZoo have even gone a step further when it comes to animals that we sell.  If you are a participating Top Dog Rewards Card Member, the pet that you purchase from us has a ‘Home for Life.’  If for any reason you can not keep your healthy pet, it can be returned to us (not for a refund) and we will find it a qualified home.
